According to CryptoGlobe, on Friday (October 21), Cryptographer and software engineer Nik Bougalis, who is currently Director of Engineering at Ripple, announced that he is leaving the Californian FinTech firm in a few weeks.

As for what he is going to do next, based on what he says on his personal website and on GitHub, it seems plausible that he might be forming a startup that develops “cryptographic solutions for use in the blockchain space.”
