Vitalik Buterin and YC founder have unfollowed each other on Twitter

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and Y Combinator co-founder Paul Graham have unfollowed each other on Twitter. Vitalik Buterin previously tweeted satirizing Paul Graham's gossip, and said that "Basically, there's "a thing" that happens on here where people give out rumors, and many people retweet them, and lots of people start trading on that info...

In general, I don't think we should legitimize "trust me" rumor trading. It makes the space ripe for manipulation and may even create volatility. Another deeper issue is that our space has *a big history* of people using rumors as a way to induce price movements in a direction that helps their bags. Manipulating the market intentionally to capture gains is not in keeping with the crypto-finance culture. I don't think Paul Graham is part of the crypto finance culture that does the toxic intentional manipulating and engagement farming stuff. ”

As previously reported, Paul Graham tweeted, "A trustworthy person I have known for more than a decade believes that the cryptocurrency economy will soon have systemic risks."
