We are excited to share that the new margin trading system on HTX has been running safely for nearly 80 days and has received great acceptance and support from our valued users. To further enhance the performance of our margin products, our Margin team has planned to retire the old margin trading version. The scheduled time to discontinue the old version will be on July 14 at 08:00 (UTC), 2023, marking the complete switch from the old to the new margin version.

As the new margin system utilizes an entirely new risk management framework, using the old margin version may face reduced risk ratios or liquidation risks. We recommend that users who still have assets in the old margin system proceed with a manual upgrade on our website. Failure to complete the upgrade by the specified date will result in a mandatory upgrade, and any losses incurred as a result will be solely borne by the users.

Here is how you can manually upgrade to the new version of margin trading:

1. Visit the margin trading page on your PC.

2. Click New Margin on the right side of the Beginner's Guide.
