In HTX's proof of reserves (PoR), snapshots of net assets are taken. The first round of snapshots covered the 5 most popular assets of BTC, ETH, TRX, HT, and USDT. Total assets may be different from the net asset snapshot value due to the existence of debts (negative in net asset calculation) in margin trading or Crypto Loans.

Snapshot time: 2023-02-01 00:00:00 (UTC+8) 

Snapshot scope: Spot account, Margin account, Futures account, HTX Earn account, etc.

Snapshot assets: BTC, ETH, TRX, HT, and USDT

Umbrella account: A UID counts as an umbrella account

Note: The asset snapshot of one coin includes the coin asset of all categories in all accounts under one UID.

Here're two examples of assets calculation:

Example 1:

If your spot, margin, Earn, and Coin-M perpetual accounts each have 10 BTC, your total net assets in the snapshot will be recorded as 40 BTC. It works the same with other tokens or coins.

Example 2:

Let's say you have margin positions with a margin loan of 10 ETH and the price of ETH is 1,300 USDT. If you sell your borrowed 10 ETH into 13,000 USDT, the snapshot will read -10 in ETH and +13,000 in USDT. Thus, the total value of net assets will not change and the difference only lies in the quantity of various coins or tokens. It works the same with other tokens or coins.
