What is NIM

1. Project Introduction
NIM is an AI gaming chain powered by Dymension with EVM as the execution environment. It is the first RollApp on Dymension. Supported by Celestia DA, it hands consensus and settlement to Dymension and data processing to Celestia. NIM utilizes AI agents to perform various tasks. Players can command agents to devise strategies and compete against others in PVP race battles. As the native token of the RollApp, NIM can be used for transaction fees, staking, governance, community pool, and partner incentives.
Summary: Nim Network is a Dymension-based AI gaming chain, offering an ultimate ecosystem for exploration and development of games at the intersection of Web3 and AI. Nim Network airdropped tokens to DYM stakers and NFT holders of games like Parallel in March 2024, and the mainnet was launched on May 1, 2024.

2. Team & Investment Info
Nim Network was co-founded by Yonatan Ben Shimon and Natan Benish. The core team members and contributors came from the Ethereum Foundation, Polygon Labs, Uniswap Foundation, Starknet Foundation, AI Research, and other institutions. The team has been dedicated to the gaming and cryptography fields for the past three years and has invested in and incubated over ten projects with a portfolio exceeding $50 million.
Funding: In May 2022, Nim Network announced the completion of a $7.5 million seed round of financing at a $50 million FDV, with participation from Big Brain Holdings, Delphi Digital, Mirana Ventures, 1kx, Lemniscap, Bitkraft Ventures, Fabric Ventures, StarkWare, Geometry, Lemniscap, Formless, C2 Ventures, and other institutions.
As of now, members of NIM's AI Gaming Alliance include decentralized data-sharing protocol OceanProtocol, on-chain competition platform JokeRace, Web3 social simulation game Today, and Polygon's modular blockchain project Avail.
