What is SHIB

SHIBA INU (SHIB) is an experiment in decentralized community building and another meme coin similar to Dogecoin (DOGE). It was created by an anonymous developer named Ryoshi in August 2020. SHIBA INU has an ecosystem that utilizes LEASH, BONE, and SHIB tokens and its own decentralized exchange ShibaSwap.
On August 17, 2023, Shibarium, the Ethereum Layer-2 network launched by Shiba Inu, went live. This network will utilize the BONE, TREAT, SHIB, and LEASH tokens for applications built on the blockchain. Shibarium will primarily focus on the deployment and development of metaverse and gaming applications.
